Titan Cloud Key Accounts Director Trevor Long

We’re excited to welcome Trevor Long as Titan Cloud’s new Key Accounts Director. Based in the U.K., Trevor brings more than two decades of supply chain solution expertise, having worked in various industries including Manufacturing, Retail and Logistics focusing on AI/Process Mining, Digital Supply Chain Planning (DSCP), Transport Management and Global Trade Compliance. We spoke with Trevor about what brought him to Titan Cloud and how he sees this newly formed role adding to the company’s growth.

Throughout your career, you’ve helped a lot of companies achieve success, but Titan Cloud will be the first in the fuel industry. What drew you to this role?

From my first call with Chris Cooper and Morten Raaby, I got the impression they were really good guys and that it was a great company to work for. The feeling continued to build through subsequent conversations, and as I researched more on the product and leadership team, I was struck by how much deep knowledge was there. With such strength in leadership, I knew I could learn the industry quickly while also contributing extensive expertise in solving complex customer problems. Given Titan Cloud’s forward momentum, including recent acquisitions, I also saw a well-established but young company that’s very much in a growth phase. As a team, we’re right in that exciting bit where there’s rapid expansion with loads of opportunity.

How do you see the Key Accounts Director role impacting that business growth?

Titan Cloud is expanding globally; as part of that, I’m working closely with Suresite (the recent UK acquisition) and I’m also managing some of our larger global customers; that’s where the majority of my time will be spent. The key accounts role will be challenging, but I also think it’s going to be good fun. As a young company, Titan Cloud presents an opportunity for me to use the skills I’ve built up over the years to make a real difference. Every deal that comes in can have an immediate, positive impact on the company—as well as everybody on the team.

You’re based in the UK. Give us an idea of where you’re located and what you like to do outside of work.

I live near Birmingham. Fun fact: Birmingham’s claim to fame is that it actually has more canals than Venice! And it’s also where the television series Peaky Blinders is set. In my free time, I love sport, especially football. I used to play, but not anymore; however, I still play cricket. We have two grown children and two wonderful grandchildren, ages four and two; we enjoy family time whenever we can.

When my kids were younger, they begged for a dog. Now that they’re all out of the house, he’s still here—our Cavalier King Charles, Hugo. I really enjoy taking him for walks. My wife and I like to stay active, too, traveling or going out to eat at local spots whenever possible. We’re also members of our local running club. Unfortunately, my wife’s rather a better runner than I am.
